CASE STUDIES PHILIPPINES

Outcomes you can audit — not anecdotes.

Real engagement outcomes across fintech, healthcare, insurance, retail and legal — cost reduction, CSAT lift, accuracy and turnaround — each with the vetting and engagement model behind the result, because an unrepeatable win is a wrong decision at scale, not a lost ticket.

01NAMED CLIENT ENGAGEMENTS

Four brands that let us put their name on the result.

Most of our work stays anonymous under NDA. These four engagements are published with the client’s name attached — a global travel platform, a top-two card processor, a global navigation-technology leader, and an international engineering consultancy.

GarminCONSUMER TECH · CX & TECH SUPPORT

Garmin Australia cuts support costs by more than half — and lifts NPS while doing it.

THE CHALLENGE

Garmin Australia needed to lower the operating cost of customer and technical support across its full device range — automotive, aviation, marine, and fitness GPS — without compromising the deeply technical, product-specific expertise its users expect.

OUR RECOMMENDATION

PITON-Global guided Garmin to the Philippines and placed the program with a provider built for technical depth — launching lean with 15 agents, a team leader, a QA analyst, and an operations manager supporting voice, email, and chat.

THE OUTCOME

Operating costs fell by more than 50% within the first 12 months — while customer satisfaction and Net Promoter Score rose substantially. The program grew from 15 agents to roughly 50 full-time employees within 18 months, covering every Garmin product line via voice, email, and chat.

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL

“Ralf is an absolute pleasure to be partnered with. His professionalism, passion for his business, and understanding of his clients’ needs are both refreshing and rare. He possesses a unique quality that allows him to be flexible and engaging across all areas related to customer service, tech support, and call center operations. I have had nothing but positive experiences with PITON-Global, and I would recommend their services to any company that understands the GFC, recognizes the constraints in business, and shares a vision for the future. I wholeheartedly endorse Ralf and PITON-Global for the outstanding work they have done with me at GARMIN.”

TSYSPAYMENTS · CARD PROCESSING

The world’s second-largest card processor builds its Philippine footprint from 30 seats.

THE CHALLENGE

TSYS — then the world’s second-largest credit card processor, now part of Global Payments — wanted to transition portions of its U.S. operations offshore, starting with just 30 agents. Global providers couldn’t give a launch that size real operational focus.

OUR RECOMMENDATION

A medium-sized Philippine BPO with the adaptability and hands-on attention TSYS’s phased growth strategy required — capabilities the larger, more rigid providers could not match at that stage.

THE OUTCOME

After a successful customer-service launch, TSYS expanded into customer acquisition and fraud support. Over three years the operation grew from 30 to more than 300 agents — a permanent operational footprint in the Philippines supporting sustained global growth.

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL

“Working with Ralf and the PITON-Global team was one of the best decisions we made during our outsourcing journey to the Philippines. Their deep understanding of the local BPO landscape, combined with their hands-on, consultative approach, made what could have been a complex process feel seamless. Ralf took the time to truly understand our business needs and connected us with providers that were not only cost-effective but also aligned with our quality and compliance standards. PITON-Global didn’t just introduce vendors—they helped us build long-term strategic partnerships. Their integrity, professionalism, and insight were instrumental in our successful transition. I highly recommend Ralf and his team to any company considering outsourcing to the Philippines.”

TripadvisorTRAVEL · CONTENT INTEGRITY

A 20-agent multilingual pilot that became Tripadvisor’s first major Philippine operation.

THE CHALLENGE

Tripadvisor needed to offshore multilingual content integrity work — travel review verification and fraud detection — but after evaluating six vendors, including global BPO giants, none offered the flexibility and hands-on attention a 20-agent launch deserves.

OUR RECOMMENDATION

A mid-sized back-office provider with proven multilingual depth and an operating model built for small, high-impact launches — selected for cultural fit, scalability, and founder-level attention in the early phase.

THE OUTCOME

The operation scaled 10× — from 20 to more than 200 agents in two and a half years, supporting 12 languages — and remains a stable partnership more than eight years on. It marked Tripadvisor’s first major operational presence in the Philippines.

Norman Disney & YoungENGINEERING · PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

A failing provider replaced — and the team doubled within twelve months.

THE CHALLENGE

Norman Disney & Young, a leading global engineering consultancy, was stuck with a Philippine provider that was underdelivering on sales support and administrative back-office work for its Australian operations.

OUR RECOMMENDATION

After a detailed requirements assessment, we matched NDY to a vendor aligned with its operational, cultural, and service expectations — and managed the transition of 20 staff to the new provider.

THE OUTCOME

Service quality and responsiveness improved immediately after cutover. Within 12 months NDY doubled the team to 40 dedicated support staff — a size it has held since, giving its Australian sales and admin functions long-term continuity.

04ANSWERED BY OUR PRINCIPALS

What leaders ask before trusting a case-study outcome.

How these records are built, verified, and anonymized — answered by the two people accountable for them.

Why are the clients not named?+
Every engagement sits under NDA — the companies whose numbers we publish did not sign up to be marketing collateral. We generalize identifying details, keep the operational figures real, and our principals put their own names against each record instead.— John Maczynski, CEO
How is an outcome verified before it appears here?+
Retention and revenue effects are checked against holdouts or prior-year cohorts, cost figures are taken from engagement instrumentation rather than provider claims, and every record is reviewed by both principals before publication.— Ralf Ellspermann, CSO
Are these typical results or best cases?+
They are documented cases, chosen because each teaches a different lesson — a full rebuild, a single-pillar deployment, a backlog turnaround. Your program will differ; the methodology pages in each write-up show which variables move the outcome.— Ralf Ellspermann, CSO
Can I speak to a reference client directly?+
Often, yes — under the same confidentiality the reference enjoys. Raise it in your consultation and we arrange the introduction where the client agrees.— John Maczynski, CEO
What does an engagement cost the client?+
Our advisory fee is provider-paid, so it appears at zero in every client cost base you see in these records. The transition costs shown — certification, dual-running, governance — are the client’s real spend, and we publish them rather than hide them.— John Maczynski, CEO
My industry is not represented — do you have experience in it?+
Almost certainly: the write-ups here are a sample, not the archive. Tell us your vertical and program size and we will walk you through the closest comparable engagements in a consultation.— Ralf Ellspermann, CSO
