Viacom – The media conglomerate, which owns popular cable networks such as MTV and Nickelodeon, outsourced their customer service and support operations to a third-party provider in order to improve the overall customer experience. The provider handled a variety of tasks including technical support, billing inquiries, and general customer service. This allowed Viacom to improve customer satisfaction and reduce costs, while also allowing their own team to focus on their core competencies of producing and distributing content.
