Antonio Cojuangco is the Chairman of PITON. Antonio is one of the most respected and influential business figures in the Philippines. He provides PITON with an invaluable network of local and international contacts as well as the benefits of his strategic insight and business acumen. Antonio is the former President, CEO and Chairman of Philippine Long Distance Telephone (PLDT), the country’s largest and leading telecommunication conglomerate.

He currently serves as the Chairman of AirAsia Philippines, The Landmark Corporation, FCB Manila, CAP Life Insurance Corporation, The National Museum, and Radio Veritas. He is the former Chairman of Bank of Commerce, President and CEO of Channel 5 and ABC Development Corporation. Mr. Cojuangco concurrently serves as a Director for Shang Properties, C&O Investment Realty Corporation, and Bancommerce Investment Corporation.

Antonio is the cousin of Benigno (“Noynoy”) Cojuangco Aquino III, President of the Republic of the Philippines. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics (summa cum laude) from Ateneo de Manila University and received his MBA from Stanford University.

Thomas Ellspermann is the Vice-Chairman of PITON. In his role, Thomas is responsible the development and management of strategic partnerships and alliances. He brings more than 20 years of executive management and outsourcing experience with publicly traded companies to PITON.

Apart from his role with PITON, he is the VP (Commercial) of Alstom Grid in Shanghai, China. Before joining PITON, Mr. Ellspermann was Managing Director of Areva T&D (Eastern Europe), where he oversaw the sales and marketing activities for 8 Eastern European countries. During his five-year tenure at Areva, he was instrumental in doubling the company’s (regional) annual revenues to more than US$ 500 million.

Thomas holds an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany. He also attended Harvard’s Business School Executive Education Program.

Ralf Ellspermann is the Chief Executive Officer of PITON. Ralf’s focus at PITON is to drive the company’s strategic direction and oversee all operations of the company. His broad experience in delivering high performance inbound and outbound customer interaction solutions for leading mid-market enterprises gives him a unique perspective of the most pressing concerns of outsourcing executives and business owners today: quality, return on investment, and scalability.

Over the last 10 years, Ralf has successfully assisted more than 100 corporations to migrate their contact center outsourcing requirements to leading BPOs in the Philippines. In the past, Ralf served as a keynote speaker at worldwide leading outsourcing conferences such as Nasscom’s Annual ITES/BPO Strategy Summit in Bangalore, India. He continues to serve as an industry resource for asset management and private equity firms such as Baird.

Ralf studied International Marketing with focus on Japan at the School of Business (East-Asia Institute) in Ludwigshafen a. Rhein, Germany. He is a part of the Kienbaum Executive Consultants High Potential Pool and received a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DDAD) for his studies in Morioka (Iwate Ken), Japan.

Jose (“Joe”) Guingona is the President of PITON. Joe brings more than 30 years of top-level IT / BPO consulting experience to the company and is responsible for overseeing PITON’s contact center outsourcing practice.

Apart from his role at PITON, Joe is the current President and CEO of Indra (Philippines), a globally leading IT consulting firm with more than 30,000 employees worldwide and annual revenues exceeding US$4 billion. Mr. Gunigona concurrently serves as the Chairman of Ventaja Corporation, Director of Rockwell Land Corporation, PCCI Finance Corporation, PCCI Insurance Brokerage Corporation, Philippine Commercial Capital, Inc., Plum Point Development Corp. and First Private Power Company.

Previously he was a top executive of Manila Electric Company (Meralco), the country’s largest and leading utility.

Joe is the brother of Teofisto Guingona III, the Philippines’ former Vice President, Secretary of Foreign Affairs and Secretary of Justice. His son, Mike, is the former mayor and a current council member of Daly City, California, USA.

Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Foreign Service from the Universidad de Madrid.
